General terms and conditions of sale :

Bids can be placed :

• (a) at the place of sale, after providing proof of identity and a guarantee cheque for EUR 1 000.00
• b) By purchase order: hand it in writing to the study (12 avenue du général Gallieni - Nanterre) at the latest the day before the sale at 3:00 pm. It must be accompanied by a guarantee of payment: presentation of identity papers, deposit of a cheque for 1,000.00 euro.

The purchase order must, on pain of nullity, include :

• the designation of the property or properties
• the batch number(s)
• the maximum amount of the offer. This amount includes the costs of the tender, plus 20 % VAT.

The goods are sold in the condition in which they are at the time of sale.

Visits are organized on the day of the sale from 09:30 am at the place of sale. 

The visits allow the successful bidders to see the equipment and its condition.

As the information in the catalogue is given for information purposes only, the auction always takes place at the risk and peril of the successful bidder. This is particularly the case for the mileage, the exact model of the vehicle.

Any natural or legal person declared the successful bidder in a public auction shall be liable for his property as soon as the award is made.

At the end of the sale, the successful bidder will have to hand over a guarantee cheque for the amount of the auction including costs, pending the bank transfer that will be requested. Failing this, a sale by mad bidding may take place immediately.

It is recommended that successful bidders take out insurance.

The seller or his agents cannot be held responsible for the disappearance or deterioration of the awarded property.

The removal of the awarded goods can only take place after final collection of the amount of the award, including costs and VAT. As of the auction, a date for the removal of the vehicle (generally less than a week) is communicated. After this date, parking charges will be invoiced to the successful bidder, who will have to pay them in order to recover the vehicle. For your information, these costs are 20.00 euro per day including VAT. The successful bidder has a maximum period of one month to remove his goods, failing which it will be proceeded as provided for in the case of a crazy auction.

The successful bidder shall remove the purchased goods carefully to avoid damage to the property of both the seller and the third party. In the case of a vehicle sold without keys, the successful bidder will be responsible for the removal of the vehicle.

The fact of bidding implies full adherence to the present general conditions of sale.
