2- OBLIGATORY 2-YEAR INTERNSHIP IN A JUDICIAL OFFICER'S STUDY

Search for your internship
It is up to you to take your own steps to find your internship in a judicial officer's office.
The best time to look for and find an internship is between 1 June and 30 September in order to be able to register, in good time, for the pedagogical teaching of the Trainee Training Department.
The national chamber does not directly centralize offers and requests for internships, but several possibilities are available to you:
  • Consult the internship offers in our Announcements section and don't forget to place your own advertisement which will be published both on the Internet and in the New Judicial Officers' Journal (bimonthly).
  • You can also obtain information from the Departmental Chambers.

Mandatory entry on the internship register

When you have found a training supervisor to take you on, it is up to you, as soon as you are actually working in the study, to register as soon as possible on the register specially kept for this purpose by the departmental chamber concerned.
N.B.: To avoid any time lag, it is up to you to make your entry in the course register coincide with the beginning of the training course. In fact, although registration in the course register held by the departmental chamber can be done at any time of the year, registration in the DFS is logically limited in time, in order to be able to respect the beginning and end of the training cycles: Contact details of the departmental chambers.

The date of this registration is the starting point for the two years of the course. Do not omit to ask for an excerpt immediately. This document will be essential for you to compile your registration file with the Trainee Training Department.

WARNING : A two-year fixed-term contract is only possible if your employer chooses to make a professionalization contract (to conclude such a contract, the contact person to be contacted is imperatively the National School of Procedure).
Indeed, the Fixed Term Contract under ordinary law cannot exceed eighteen months.
