The road report

road reportWhen a construction site takes place, it is not uncommon for a dispute to arise between the municipality and the project owner. Indeed, the incessant passage of trucks, the installation of skips, the positioning on the public highway of palisades or construction site huts, even when authorized, are likely to cause damage to the roadway or sidewalks.

This is why it is very useful, as much for the technical services of the town hall as for the project manager and the project owner, to proceed to a road report before the beginning of the building site, in order to check the state of the neighbours (see our article on the report before work) but also the state of the roads.

The road report A bailiff's report with photographs will give an accurate picture of the state of the road surface and in particular of any deterioration.

Shoreline subsidence

We carry out a survey of pavement base deterioration, excluding concrete pavement, but also of wearing course deterioration.

Provided with the Minutes that we give you at the end of the Report of Findings, the person in charge of the building site will be able to justify that rutting of the pavement that is visible at the end of the work is not of its making, since it was pre-existing at the construction site, or that the stripping or the linting of the pavement was already to be deplored at the beginning of its construction.

On the other hand, it will be useful for the town hall, before any work is carried out, to check that the road is in good condition and that it is not deformed, which will make it possible, if necessary, to charge the project owner for any deformation. shoreline subsidence due to the passage of construction machinery, or off-shore subsidence such as wakes.
