report BUILDING PERMIT: COMPULSORY POSTING

- Once you have obtained your building permit, you are obliged to post it on the site where the work is being carried out, for a minimum period of two consecutive months.

This display must :

- Contain certain statements:
- The name of the beneficiary
- The number of the building permit
- The date of obtaining the building permit
- The exact address where the file can be consulted (Town Hall, DDE, etc.)
- The surface area of the parcel (surface area in square meters)
- SHON surface created
- The nature of the work (new construction, extension, etc.)
- The height of the project on the ground (eave height of the roof)
- The name of the architect author of the architectural project (since 1 July 2017)
- The date of posting in the town hall (since 1 July 2017)

- Observe exact dimensions :
- Rectangular panel and of dimensions greater than 80 cm
- And be visible from the public highway

- The extract of the building permit must be published at the town hall of the site by way of a poster within eight days of its issue and remain there for two months without interruption. This formality is carried out by the town planning services of the municipality.

Lack of signage: Significant risks

- Failure to display (or the simple omission of an element) has been punished by a a fine of up to 1500€. or even by suspending your building permit for one year.
- The two-month period given to third parties to lodge a contentious appeal against the building permit from the moment it is posted does not run and contestation is still possible,
- Injured third parties may request thecancellation of your building permit before the administrative judge for five years.
- The court may order the demolition of the building.

Thanks to the report, we provide you with the indispensable evidence to guarantee your operation.

We establish a statement of posting at the place of work, such that this statement provides proof of that:
- The posting of your building permit has been done... for two continuous months and at the required location, visible off the street
- The location, the support and the mandatory particulars to appear on the billboard were compliant to the provisions of the Town Planning Code,
- In practical terms, we intervene in two ways:
- we intervene at the beginning and end of the display. On our first visit we put a seal on your panel. After two months, we unseal the door and see the continuous display for two months.
- if we can't seal, we intervene three times (which brings proof of the two months of posting) and we add, on a date that we do not communicate to you, a statement between these two dates (which provides proof of the continuity of the posting).

With this report, any action for cancellation of your building permit for lack of advertising will be rejected. Indeed, our findings have a stronger evidentiary value... (Law of 20 December 2010).
